We have a worldwide FCL (Full Container Load) service to and from Finland with all types of ocean shipping containers. We handle standard 20’ & 40’ and 40 & 45’ HC (high cube) containers as well as special equipment. 20’ & 40’ OT (Open Top) containers can be used for cargo that will not fit into the standard containers. Cargo can also be loaded and unloaded with a crane from the top which could be crucial in some cases. Flat Racks (FR) are used for heavy and/or oversized cargo. They come in standard 20’ and 40’ sizes. Also 20’ and 40’ reefer containers are available for temperature controlled goods. And all the above can be delivered to the client’s doorstep with an equivalent trucking equipment.

Seller delivers the goods to the carrier or forwarder at an agreed location. The seller contracts to pay for carriage to the agreed location and cost for insurance. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.
|DAT||Delivered At Terminal
Seller delivers and unloads goods at a named terminal. The seller assumes all risks associated to delivering and unloading the goods at the terminal. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.
|DAP||Delivered At Place
Seller pays for carriage to the named place and assumes all risks prior to the point that the goods are ready for unloading by the buyer. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.
|DDP||Delivered Duty Paid
Seller delivers the goods to the named place and assumes all costs associated with delivering the goods. The seller is required to clear goods through export and import. Although the seller pays for import clearance and duties the deductible taxes are usually for the buyer’s account. It is adviced to add a clause such as ‘DDP, tax excluded’ for clarity.

|FAS||Free Alongside Ship
Seller delivers goods placed alongside a vessel at the named port nominated by the buyer. Seller bears all costs associated with transport until the goods are alongside the vessel, buyer assumes risks from that point forward. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.
|FOB||Free On Board
Seller delivers and loads the goods on the vessel nominated by the buyer. The seller bears all costs associated with transportation until that point. All risks are assumed by the buyer after the point of delivery and unloading. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.
|CFR||Cost and Freight
Seller delivers the goods on board the vessel. The seller contrancts to pay for the cost of freight to move the goods to the port of destination. Risks are passed at the point of delivery on board the vessel. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.

Seller delivers the goods on board the vessel. The seller contracts for the cost of freight to move the goods to the port of destination. The seller also contracts and pays for the cost of insurance. The seller is required to clear goods through export only.

|FCL||Full Container Load
Ocean freight container that contains cargo for only one consignee or from a single shipper. Used to ship large quantities of goods for lower costs.
|TEU||Twenty foot Equivalent Unit
Unit of measurement in FCL ocean freight. Equals the space occupied by a 20’ container. 20’ = 1 TEU, 40’ = 2 TEU, 45’ = 2,5 TEU.
|THC||Terminal Handling Charge
Cost for physically handling the cargo. Includes container lifting for FCL freight and terminal handling for LCL cargo.
|LCL||Less than Container Load
Ocean freight cargo that does not fill the whole container. Usually merged and shipped with other small shipments from one destination to another to keep freight costs low.
